This is really a very unique place on earth and situated in the Kalahari Desert of Southern Africa. Where the red dunes and scrub fade into infinity and herds of gemsbok, springbok, eland and blue wildebeest follow the seasons, where imposing camel thorn trees provide shade for huge black-maned lions and vantage points for leopard and many raptors... this is the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

If you want to book a trip to this amazing area please note that bookings must be done 6 to 11 months in advance as accommodation is very limited in this popular park. There are a couple of camps to go to but they have only a couple of units per camp available.
