4-Day Private Safari
Private Guided Safari in Kruger National Park
Overview
4-Day 3 Night - Kruger National Park Safari Tour
We will be lodging in the southern region of Kruger Park, an area teeming with plains game animals, the Big 5, and various places to discover. Our excursions are not predetermined; rather, we venture to locations where sightings have been recently reported. A seasoned guide with a sharp eye will lead you, ensuring a high chance of success. The southern section of Kruger Park, situated near the Sabie River, is a prime location for observing birds and members of the Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephants and Cape Buffalo) all year round and large game like hippo and crocodile and lion prides are found regularly

4 Day Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival at Skukuza Airport and Check in at Skukuza Safari Lodge
To fully enjoy your four-day adventure, consider booking the earliest possible flight. This will allow you to head straight to the game drive from the airport, which is conveniently located just outside Skukuza camp. Check-in time is at 2:00 p.m.and you'll be provided with a standard room equipped with air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and an en-suite bathroom. Remember to arrange for breakfast packs at the reception the day before to start your day right. The standard conservation fees can also be paid via Credit Card at reception for the duration of your stay.
Once you've settled in and checked in at 3:30 p.m. we can continue the game drive next to the Sabie River until the camp gates close around 5:30 p.m. in Winter and 6:30 p.m. in Summer. You can choose from two restaurants for dinner, but do note that expenses will be on your own account.
Day 2 & 3 - Full-day Game drives with an afternoon break
We begin our day early, at approximately 5:00 a.m., to ensure that we are out of the gate as soon as it opens. This is an optimal time to observe large felines as they are still lively and on the move before the heat becomes too intense. Bottled water is also conveniently accessible during our game drives.
Subsequently, we proceed towards a distinct camp or picnic spot where we have our breakfast and explore the surroundings. Following breakfast, we continued our game drive until lunchtime. Upon returning to Skukuza Safari Lodge, you may relish a delectable lunch and bask in the sun by the pool or book a rejuvenating spa session. During the late afternoon, we embark on another adventure until the gate closes, usually around 17:30 to 18:30, depending on the designated gate closing time.
After dinner, you will go on a late-night drive with The Kruger Park guides in a 20-seater safari vehicle and explore the evening and nocturnal animals. This is not a private trip but it is good to experience it once for sure.
Day 4 - Early morning game drive and depart
It's worth booking the latest flight out of Skukuza Airport in order to have more time for exploring the next day. For the best chance of seeing big cats and general game, an early morning pick-up around 5:00 am (depending on the time of year) is suggested. The guide will take us to the areas where sightings have been reported in the past few days and where they have experience.
Bottled water is also available on the game drives daily. Now we head to a different camp or picnic spot to have breakfast and explore. After the break, we will head back to camp at a leisurely pace for breakfast and check out at 10:00 a.m.
Following breakfast, we will continue with the game drive until it's time for drop-off at Skukuza Airport. Your luggage will be loaded onto the vehicle for your convenience.
